《如果你問起》 If you Ask

昨日、台北市内で100万人規模のデモが行われた。それは、
台湾の独立阻止を目的に中国が武力行使に法的根拠を与える《反国家分裂法》を制定したことに抗議するための活動だった。
そして、今日、台湾の新聞紙《自由時報》に台湾の詩人・李敏勇氏が書いた詩が掲載された。
その詩に書かれた言葉に、私は胸が熱くなった。

In this deeply hurt land draw a picture of the new nation

台湾人として、台湾のことを思うと、とてもとても切ない気分になる。
台湾はただただ世界の一員として認められたい、自由に生きたいだけなのだ！

この日が来るまで、あとどのくらいの年月がかかるだろう？！

でも、台湾の立場を守るため、決してあきらめない！
たとえ戦わなければいけないとしても！
